STAR - Observatory trip

As part of the IB and IGCSE physics program several students had the oppurtunity to go to the old observatory in Stockholm. We were given a short lecture on astronomy and its history from the leader of STAR (Stockholms amatör astronomiska sällskap) at the old observatory. Afterwards students were able to look through the telescope to see the moon, saturn as well as jupiter and three of its moon. It was a truly amazing experience.
